Today I learned that the release date of my new book, Spiritual Intervention, will be December 15th, 2016. This is book three of my Desert Son paranormal romance trilogy. In my attempt to publish a book in back-to-back years, I began kicking ass to get this third book written, and submitted it quicker than normal, knowing that there was still a window of a couple of months following the the contract to edit. My second book, Wayward Soul, released early in the year (January 7, 2016), so I thought I had a crack at this back-to-back book release goal. Then today I found out my release date was December 15th 2016 and HOLY SHIT, that’s two books in a year! I don’t believe that will be the norm going forward, but releasing another in 2017 might be a tad challenging, but I’m going to try. There will be no more Desert Son series, and I have to dream up another world, but I am excited for the challenge. My publisher is Black Rose Writing, and they believed in me enough to make quick work of this third book of the Desert Son trilogy. Check out all of my books on my website below, and don’t be afraid to pick up a copy.
They can’t shake that menacing spirit. Now it’s got a hold of their son.
They tried to get away, but it follows them wherever they go.
Carter and Brenda thought it was a clean break and a new start. They were dead wrong. They escaped their old life in Boulder and returned to Boston. Signs emerged indicated that this mission failed when their young son, Adam, began to speak. He would say things and act in a way that made Carter and Brenda believe they were not just a family of three.
When seven-year-old Adam is kidnapped in the middle of the night, there is no more denying that the spirit of Martin had reared his very ugly head, again. This story culminates in a showdown that has only one possibility of finding peace in their lives.
They must find a way to move Martin into the afterlife. However, there’s one problem.
Martin has no intension of going.
If you loved Desert Son and Wayward Soul, you will need to discover the ending to Spiritual Intervention, which is the third book of the trilogy.
“Déjà Vu” is a common intuitive experience that has happened to many of us. This is a French term meaning “already seen.” This feeling of strangeness and familiarity sparks our memory of a place we’ve been, a person we’ve seen, or an act we’ve done. Some believe we can receive a lesson or complete unfinished business as a result of this phenomenon.
Déjà vu experiences have been linked to medical conditions, such as schizophrenia, epilepsy, and anxiety, but psychologists have also come up with theories such as stress and internal hidden conflicts. Others associate it with psychic abilities, prophecy, or past-life experiences.
Two people may share a deep experience in a former earth-life and have a sense of knowing each other, although they’ve never knowingly met. This new incarnation is believed to be the linking of past connections that are still active.
It was this fascinating subject that became my spark behind the Desert Son paranormal romance trilogy. Carter Spence had Déjà Vu the moment he met Brenda in a chance encounter at a gas station. They run into each other, literally, and become inseparable once the spilled coffee has been mopped up. Carter knows there’s a little something extra going on with this girl, but it’s Brenda who knows all about this subject.
Has this ever happened to you? Do you know that eerie feeling? Check my website for samples from my first two books of the Desert Son trilogy, and I’ll be working on getting that third book published.
Here is Iris Blobel’s blog highlighting the first book of my trilogy, Desert Son. This book features out-of-body, past-life-regression hypnosis, and reincarnation. The except in this highlight tackles the moment when Carter meets Brenda, who is his true soul mate and the foundation for the entire Desert Son series. The excerpt describes this powerful attraction that catapults them through the series from this purposeful chance encounter onward. You can start the series with an ebook at $2.99 on Amazon (see all links on blog link below) and make your way to the action-packed sequel, Wayward Soul. I am currently editing book three of the trilogy. See the enthusiastic reviews and discover for yourself what makes these paranormal romance books rock!
Today I met with the Manager at the Campus Bookstore at Manchester Community College in Manchester, CT and we worked out a book signing for November 12th from 12PM to 3PM. I attended MCC from 1984-1986 and received an Associates degree in Communications before transferring to UCONN in Storrs, CT for my English degree (they did not have Bacon Jalapeno Mac ‘n Cheese back then). The bookstore manager will set me up either in the book store or outside of it and may try to get a musician to play along during this event. Looking forward to this signing, which comes about two months prior to the release of my third book, Wayward Soul. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and say hello.
When Carter Spence and Brenda Raycroft visit a Psychic named Angie, their reading turns tragic upon touch as Angie suffers convulsions and frantically runs into the street and gets hit by a car. Why did she react that way? Their fate is sealed in a coma, so they must use any means possible to reach Angie in the spirit world as they dodge deadly complications in an attempt for answers.
This eerie sequel to Desert Son occurs four years after Carter and Brenda discover that they are a couple reunited beyond the grave in Boulder, Colorado. Carter and Brenda race against time as they need to get this information before Angie dies and takes the reading with her. They decide to share the house with tenants to help with the bills. It’s a family of four with mysterious four-year-old twin boys. When the spirit of old man Martin returns to haunt them, Carter and Brenda must block his spirit from their world and try to prevent him from tampering with the body of Angie. The spirit world becomes intertwined with their own once again as they attempt to tap into Angie’s secrets to uncover disturbing truths about their fate.
